About EKIVA

It began in Jaipur. In quiet workshops filled with mineral blues and sunlit courtyards, artisans shaped clay the way their fathers and grandmothers did before them. Not from a factory mould. Not from a machine. But from memory. EKIVA was born from a simple belief: that some things deserve to be preserved exactly as they are. Jaipur's blue pottery is not just craft. It is inheritance. A centuries old art form brought to Rajasthan and refined through generations, known for its luminous blues, intricate florals, and hand glazed finish. Today, it survives because a few hands still choose patience over speed.

We set out to build a brand that would carry this craft forward the way we see it. Honest. Design first. Deeply Indian. Made for homes across the world.

What We Stand For

At EKIVA, craft comes first. More than 90 percent of every piece is shaped, painted, and finished by artisans in Jaipur. No shortcuts. No industrial replication. Every curve, every brushstroke, every glaze layer carries human intention. We believe true luxury lies in:

Authenticity

Real hands. Real heritage. Real materials.

Artisan Respect

We work directly and ethically with master craftsmen, ensuring their knowledge is valued and sustained.

Timeless Design

We design for longevity, not trends. Pieces meant to live with you, age beautifully, and travel through generations.

Our Customer

She is thoughtful. Rooted yet global. Her home is not filled overnight. It is collected slowly. With intention. With story. She chooses pieces that mean something. That carry culture. That spark conversation over coffee and linger long after guests leave. To her, EKIVA is not décor. It is memory in the making.

The Artisans Behind EKIVA

Blue pottery is not learned from a handbook. It is inherited. The artisans we work with grew up watching clay being kneaded at dawn and motifs being painted by late afternoon light. Their knowledge lives in practice. In muscle memory. In repetition refined over decades.

No two pieces are identical. That is not a flaw. That is the signature.

When you bring EKIVA home, you become part of this journey. You help sustain livelihoods. You help preserve a fragile art. You choose preservation over production.

Our Manifesto

Made of the little rituals. Of setting the table before friends arrive. Of fresh flowers in a hand painted vase. Of slow Sunday mornings with chai in a blue rimmed cup. Of gifting something that carries meaning, not just price. At EKIVA, we celebrate these moments. Because heritage is not meant to sit in museums. It is meant to be lived with. EKIVA is not just pottery. It is legacy, carried from artisan hands to your home.
